We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our client's team! A Portfolio Manager in financial services is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring investment strategies to maximize returns while managing risks for clients. They analyze market trends, make asset allocation decisions, and execute trades for portfolios, such as mutual funds or high-net-worth accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Strategy & Execution: Create, implement, and adjust investment strategies (active or passive) to align with client risk tolerance and financial goals.
- Asset Allocation & Research: Analyze financial data, economic trends, and market news to buy/sell securities (stocks, bonds, etc.) and diversify portfolios.
- Performance Monitoring: Track portfolio performance, generate reports on gains/losses, and perform rebalancing to maintain target asset allocation.
- Client Management: Communicate with clients, providing performance updates, and explaining investment decisions.
- Risk Management: Evaluate and manage risks to protect assets and achieve long-term growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, or business.
- Experience: Proven experience in asset management, research, or financial analysis.
- Certifications: CFA a plus
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis software, and Bloomberg terminal.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
