About the role

This role involves acting as a strategic advisor to high-level clients in the CPG sector, leveraging deep industry knowledge and advanced AI capabilities to drive significant business transformations and value realization.

Original posting from Celonis via Greenhouse

Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and the pioneer of Process Mining technology. As one of the world’s fastest-growing enterprise SaaS companies, we are changemakers pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We invest heavily in advanced AI capabilities—specifically our Process Intelligence Graph—to turn data insights into immediate business action. We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by placing intelligence at the core of every business process. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet.

The Role:

We are looking for a Client Value Partner, CPG—a seasoned industry executive who can bridge the gap between global supply chain strategy and operational excellence. You will act as the primary accountable lead for one of our most strategic global accounts, translating C-level vision into clear, realized value.

As a Partner, you are a "go-to" strategic advisor within our CPG & Retail go-to-market organization. You will move beyond standard customer success to link Celonis capabilities to key outcomes specific to high-volume distribution, logistics, and asset-intensive operations.

You will work in partnership with the Celonis Sales Teams and have full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of our top-tier customers. You are our customers’ trusted advisor, helping them mobilize resources, achieve their strategic goals, and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.

In collaboration with our partners, Product, and Engineering teams, you will drive measurable business impact across complex global networks. You will blend deep industry expertise with a proven strategy consulting skill set to spearhead data-driven transformation at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing tech companies worldwide.

The work you’ll do:

Identify & Frame Value

Translate Strategy to Operations: Analyze the client's strategic goals (e.g., Network Optimization, Sustainability/ESG, Working Capital Release) and map them to a long-term vision utilizing the Celonis platform.

Target High-Impact Areas: Architect the "CSCO" or "COO" agenda—moving beyond isolated use cases to optimizing entire value chains, such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Logistics & Distribution, and Inventory/Asset Management.

Build the Business Case: Construct robust, board-level business cases that articulate the financial impact of Process Intelligence (e.g., impact on Cost-to-Serve, On-Time-In-Full performance, or Asset Utilization) to C-Suite executives.

Build demos and strategic roadmaps, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices in order to embed Celonis as a core pillar of the client's digital supply chain strategy.

Undertake Value Assessments and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

Realize Value

Drive Engagement Success: Lead the executive relationship and value workstream for large-scale transformations, ensuring the program effectively delivers on its "digital twin" promise across the global network.

Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Guide customers on organization design and the maturation of Centers of Excellence (CoE), mobilizing global cross-functional teams (Services, Product, Engineering) to ensure seamless delivery.

Solve Systemic Challenges: Work cross-functionally to tackle difficult implementation hurdles, helping customers define standards for inventory visibility, fleet/logistics optimization, and enterprise-wide change initiatives.

Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement in Supply Chain and Finance functions.

Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.

Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.

Scale Value

Codify Best Practices: Turn our client successes into reusable assets, playbooks, and thought leadership for the broader CPG and Distribution practice.

Mentor & Enable: Act as a senior leader for the team, coaching junior members and managers on executive relationship management, supply chain nuances, and team performance.

Product Feedback: Serve as the "Voice of the Customer" to our Product teams, ensuring our development roadmap aligns with the specific scale and complexity needs of a global enterprise.

Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, landing, expanding, adoption and renewing.

Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization.

Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.

The qualifications you need:

Deep Industry Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience, ideally combining time at a global CPG, Logistics, or Supply Chain-intensive firm with Strategy Consulting. You understand the complexities of moving goods and managing assets at scale.

Domain Expertise: You possess granular knowledge of the value chain, specifically in areas such as Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Distribution, Fleet/Asset Management, and Order Management.

Value Realization Skills: You have a track record of driving large-scale transformation programs. You understand how to impact the P&L through inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, and cash flow improvement.

Technical Fluency: You understand the modern supply chain stack (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, TMS/WMS systems) and how to translate Celonis use cases into the customer's specific business landscape.

Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience presenting to and influencing C-Level executives (CSCO, CIO, CFO). You can navigate complex global organizations and have the power of persuasion through data, facts, and confidence.

Builder Mentality: You are comfortable working with ambiguity and possess an entrepreneurial leadership style that inspires teams.

Degree: MBA strongly preferred; Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field required.
