The ideal candidate has experience in climate data modeling, carbon metrics, and ESG frameworks.

🧠 Key Responsibilities🌍 Climate Risk Modeling

• Develop and implement climate risk models to assess environmental impacts on operations and investments.
• Analyze physical and transition risks associated with climate change scenarios.
• Provide actionable insights for risk mitigation and strategic planning.

♻️ Carbon Accounting

• Calculate and monitor carbon footprints for organizations, projects, or portfolios.
• Track greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with international standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
• Support development of carbon reduction strategies and decarbonization plans.

📊 ESG Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare ESG reports in compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., TCFD, SASB, GRI).
• Analyze environmental, social, and governance data to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.

🤝 Collaboration & Communication

• Work with sustainability, finance, and operational teams to gather and validate data.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and reporting procedures.
• Stay updated on climate risk modeling techniques, ESG frameworks, and sustainability trends.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Essential

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Sustainability, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in climate risk modeling, carbon accounting, or ESG reporting.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, Excel, SQL, or specialized ESG software).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Knowledge of ESG reporting standards, climate scenarios, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with carbon management platforms and sustainability software.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation.
