Job Description

Overview

Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)

What if your deep expertise in clinical analytics could directly influence how AI understands and reasons about healthcare data? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics work that bridges complex clinical, operational, and performance data — and helps train the next generation of AI models built for the healthcare domain.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for seasoned healthcare data professionals who know how to turn raw data into decisions that matter.

Role Details

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in building dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Design, maintain, and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to surface trends, support leadership decisions, and improve care delivery and efficiency
  • Apply your domain knowledge to evaluate and improve how AI systems interpret and generate healthcare analytics content
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across complex, regulated healthcare environments

Who You Are

  • Experienced healthcare or clinical analytics professional with a strong track record in BI and data management
  • Proven ability to design and manage end-to-end BI systems — dashboards, reporting pipelines, and underlying data models
  • Deep familiarity with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated healthcare settings
  • Strong communicator who can translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed and reliable — comfortable managing your own workload and delivering quality outputs independently

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or ICD coding systems
  • Background in population health, value-based care, or clinical quality improvement
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your hours around your life
  • Freelance autonomy with the depth and meaning of high-impact healthcare work
  • Gain direct exposure to how advanced LLMs are trained on specialized domain knowledge
  • Contribute to AI development that could reshape how clinical data is understood at scale
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
