Clinical Research Financial Analyst / Clinical Research Administrator

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct closeout audits to ensure all financial activities are reconciled prior to study closure
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow‑up on outstanding balances
  • Verify billing compliance and resolve charge allocation discrepancies
  • Review and support negotiation of study budgets, contracts, and payment schedules
  • Collaborate with billing compliance, finance, and research teams to ensure adherence to financial guidelines
  • Utilize financial and clinical systems (e.g., Mecha, Epic) to support audits and billing reviews

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and account reconciliation
  • Auditing experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical research
  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding of contractual payment terms and budget schedules
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and standard office applications
  • Must have experience in healthcare or clinical research preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Epic experience a plus (training available)

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
