Job Overview 

The Cloud Operations Engineer is a customer-facing role responsible to assist with project and deployment tasks in support of CyberSheath Managed Services clients' onboarding and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will engage new clients to understand their architecture, implement CyberSheath solutions and technologies in the environment, and address any potential gaps that may arise. 

They will work as part of a project team responsible for the management, support, and migration/implementation projects related to CyberSheath client’s IT systems. The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of on-premise and cloud hosted Microsoft systems (including Office 365 / Azure) and apply that knowledge to manage our customer's computing environments. 

Essential Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

Provision and deliver computer systems and services, both on-premise and cloud hosted solutions 

Regularly perform migrations to Office 365 (email, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), server migrations to Azure, and implement various Azure technologies 

Design and deliver secure cloud solutions in Office 365 and Azure 

Architecture, design, system evaluation and analysis, and infrastructure assessments 

Deploy and maintain tools and monitoring agents such as endpoint protection, vulnerability management, log collection, multifactor authentication, RMM, etc. 

Track all activities, detailed case notes, and time entries within the Service Desk Ticketing system 

Work with internal CyberSheath stakeholders to ensure key tasks and timeline are identified, on time, and on budget 

Provide timely updates and feedback to the internal team and clients regarding project status activities being on-track. 

Drive technical implementation tasks to completion by budgeted deadlines 

Proactively communicate with clients to ensure requests are properly addressed 

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot onboarding implementation issues as they arise 

Other duties as assigned. 

Required Education, Experience, & Skills 

Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in System Administration, including experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Administration, Server Management (Active Directory – Group Policy), Deployment and Migrations  

Must have proven experience performing successful Office 365 email migrations and cloud, P2V, V2V server migrations 

Must have experience with Intune enrollment and polices. 

Intermediate networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, VPN) 

Knowledge of automation tools and scripting 

Knowledge of security tools, such as EDR, SIEM, MFA, DLP, AIP, etc. 

Great analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex systems and problems 

Must have exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills 

Amazing organization skills to balance and prioritize workloads. 

Must be comfortable with leading technical discussions consisting of client and CyberSheath personnel 

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment 

Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside within the United States or its Territories 

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills 

Working experience with Government flavors of Office 365, Azure or AWS. 

Working experience with ConnectWise suite of products. 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 

Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, Network+, Security+, CCSP, etc.

Budgeted Pay Range$110,000—$127,000 USD
