As a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in analyzing credit information to empower lending decisions for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your contributions will help shape the future of our clients' financial success while ensuring adherence to bank policies and an exceptional client service experience.

  • Negotiate loan structures and terms in alignment with client needs and bank risk policies.
  • Develop tailored credit solutions for complex client situations.
  • Authorize new, renewal, and extension loans within your designated authority.
  • Conduct thorough portfolio monitoring to guarantee covenant compliance and address any credit concerns.
  • Perform detailed performance analysis, engage clients, and assess industry trends for identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate portfolio performance and provide recommendations for capital allocation to optimize returns.
  • Tackle escalated client service requests, securing high client satisfaction.
  • Lead complex proposal development and deliver impactful presentations to attract new business and deepen client relationships.
  • Engage with industry peers to gather insights and adopt best practices for maintaining competitive advantage.
  • Build and cultivate long-term client relationships in collaboration with the Relationship Manager.
  • Support the structuring of new, renewal, and extension loans that meet client expectations and adhere to risk policies.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses and risk assessments for your assigned portfolio.
  • Continuously monitor portfolio performance, taking preemptive actions when necessary.
  • Minimize risk exposure by following established credit policies and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a reliable contact for client service requests, ensuring needs are anticipated and addressed.
  • Implement strategies to enhance service quality and foster new business opportunities.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to boost portfolio growth.
  • Leverage analytical tools for portfolio growth that surpasses Return on Equity thresholds.
  • Maintain accurate data entry within the bank's systems to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Utilize your expertise to solve complex problems and navigate unique situations.
  • Adapt to changing trends by implementing strategic shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 7+ years of experience in credit, lending, or financial operations within corporate or banking sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience are essential for success in this role.

Proficiency Requirements:

  • Intermediate: Structuring Deals, Change Management.
  • Advanced: Detail-Oriented, Leadership.
  • Expert: Loan Structuring, Regulatory Compliance, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Banking Operations, Financial Analysis, Microsoft Office, Problem Solving, Customer Service.

Salary: $122,400.00 - $228,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried
