Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
**Financial Analysis**:
Analyzing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Performing profitability analysis for different business units, products, or services.
Conducting cost-benefit analysis to assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies.
**Budgeting and Forecasting**:
Preparing detailed budgets and financial forecasts for sales, marketing, and other commercial departments.
Monitoring performance against budget, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
**Business Partnering**:
Working closely with commercial teams (sales, marketing, operations) to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Presenting financial findings and reports to senior management to guide business planning and decision-making.
**Profitability & Cost Management**:
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements within commercial operations.
Analyzing pricing strategies and their impact on margins and profitability.
**Reporting**:
Developing and presenting monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Preparing ad hoc reports or analyses as required by management to support decision-making.
**Risk Management**:
Evaluating financial risks associated with commercial operations, such as sales fluctuations, credit risk, and market conditions.
Developing strategies to mitigate risks and improve financial outcomes.
**Investment Evaluation**:
Assessing the financial viability of new commercial ventures, product launches, or market expansions.
Conducting ROI analysis for marketing campaigns, product developments, and other commercial initiatives.
Key Skills:
**Financial Modeling**: Ability to build financial models that forecast outcomes and guide decision-making.
**Data Analysis**: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in using tools like Excel, Power BI, or other financial software.
