Job Description

ABOUT US

We're a Sydney-based biotech building a new category in cosmeceuticals, cell-cultured exosomes, born out of one of Australia's most advanced cell culture platforms.

Our parent company, Vow, was founded in 2019 to reimagine food through cellular agriculture. Along the way, we discovered our proprietary bioprocess produces extraordinarily potent bioactive ingredients as a by-product and the skincare and aesthetics market wants them. We're now building a dedicated commercial business around this.

We have real product, real efficacy data, real clinic traction, and a supply model with exceptional margins. What we need now is the person to build the commercial engine around it.

THE ROLE:

As a Commercial Associate – Cosmetics at Vow, you’ll play a key execution role in the commercial buildout of our bioactive ingredients business. Working closely with Vow’s leadership and our GTM partner, you’ll help take a genuinely novel product - cell-derived exosomes with demonstrated efficacy in the aesthetics market - and drive traction across our go-to-market workstreams.

You’ll contribute across three interconnected workstreams, with guidance and direction from senior leadership:

  • In-market testing: Market validation of exosome-based skinbooster products. Supporting the in-market testing programme with aesthetic clinics across Australia, Singapore and beyond. This includes coordinating clinic onboarding and training, managing sample logistics, collecting feedback, processing orders, and helping iterate on product-market fit.
  • B2B ingredient sales: Building and managing commercial relationships for the sale of Vow’s exosome ingredient to ingredient distributors and third-party skincare and personal care brands, under the direction of senior leadership.
  • Strategic ingredient partnerships: Supporting the identification and development of high-value partnerships that expand the reach of Vow’s bioactive platform into new applications and geographies.
  • New product development: Identify and evaluate new product opportunities — from initial concept and commercial viability assessment through to launch.

You’ll work with Vow’s leadership, our chosen GTM partner, and internal teams including regulatory, quality, product/manufacturing, legal, and supply chain. You’ll coordinate between customers (clinics, brands, etc.) and internal functions to support effective formulations, supply readiness, compliant messaging, and correct clinical handling.

This is a role for someone who thrives on getting things done, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can shift seamlessly between coordinating a distribution shipment and doing a face-to-face clinic visit the same afternoon. You’ll bring structured thinking paired with a bias for action, and the commercial instinct to build trust with customers in a fast-moving market.

THE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

  • Experience in business development, commercial operations, sales, or strategy roles - ideally at a high-growth startup, in consulting, biotech/life sciences, or the aesthetics/skincare industry.
  • A track record of managing multiple workstreams in parallel and delivering results with limited hand-holding once given direction.
  • Strong commercial instincts – you can build trust quickly with a range of stakeholders, from clinic owners and KOLs to brand partners and distributors.
  • Experience coordinating across functions (e.g. regulatory, quality, supply chain, external partners). You’re comfortable being the connective tissue between moving parts, with guidance from leadership on prioritisation.
  • A passion for learning, continued growth, and a willingness to operate in ambiguous environments where things aren’t fully figured out yet.
  • Solid analytical and research skills - you can help size a market, build a pricing model, and synthesise clinic feedback into a clear recommendation.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills. You’ll be juggling multiple workstreams and need to know when to flag trade-offs and ask for direction.
  • Zero ego. You’ll contribute to high-impact commercial initiatives by doing – whether that’s running a clinic training session, prepping sample shipments, or pulling together a pitch deck.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the aesthetics, dermatology, or cosmeceuticals space.
  • Familiarity with clinic distribution models, KOL engagement, or medical device/cosmetic product launches.
  • International market experience

Note: you do not need to satisfy 100% of the points listed above. If you have some of the skills and believe you could make an impact in this role, please apply – we want to hear from you!

YOU WILL:

  • Coordinate and support the in-market validation of Vow’s exosome-based skinbooster product with aesthetic clinics across NSW (and eventually Singapore), including clinic onboarding, training, sample delivery, feedback collection, and order management.
  • Identify and develop new product opportunities beyond exosomes, assessing commercial viability, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving concepts from idea through to market launch.
  • Support the B2B sales pipeline for Vow’s exosome ingredient - from lead generation and outreach through to supporting negotiation and closing, with guidance from leadership.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic ingredient partnerships that expand the commercial footprint of Vow’s bioactive platform.
  • Collaborate with Vow’s partners on brand architecture, distribution strategy, education materials, and launch sequencing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (regulatory, quality, product, manufacturing, supply chain, legal) to support product supply, compliance, and readiness across commercial activities.
  • Produce consolidated trial and market reports that synthesise clinical feedback, provide clinical evidence for our marketing and regulatory requirements, and support strategic recommendations to Vow’s leadership.
  • Proactively leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve the quality of your work across multiple workstreams.
  • Be hands on. This role is equal parts coordination and hustle - expect to be in clinics multiple times a week, building relationships face-to-face, and doing whatever it takes to drive traction.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

FIRST 3 MONTHS

You’ll build deep context across all three workstreams and take ownership of day-to-day coordination of active clinic relationships. You’ll establish yourself as reliable and proactive - someone leadership can count on to run in a direction once pointed. You’ll begin developing clear plans for the quarter ahead with input from your manager.

3–6 MONTHS

You’ll be managing the operational rhythm of hard launch execution - coordinating clinic activations, supporting B2B ingredient conversations, and building the evidence base that supports product-market fit. You’ll have strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. You’ll proactively flag challenges, come with proposed solutions, and manage multiple workstreams in parallel with increasing independence.

12 MONTHS

You’ll have played a critical role in building a functioning commercial engine for Vow’s cosmeceutical business. You’ll have contributed to demonstrating early product-market fit, supported repeatable sales processes, and helped establish relationships with strategic GTM partner(s). You’ll have a strong grasp of the business, deep relationships with clinics and partners, and will be translating in-market insights into clear recommendations for leadership on product development and market expansion.
