Artisan Recruitment are looking for an Commissioning Engineer to work on a static site in London, responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of fire and security systems. This role is site-based with no travel requirements, ideal for an engineer looking for long term work.
Duties will include:
- Commission fire and security systems to relevant British Standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Systems may include:
- Fire Alarm Systems (addressable and conventional)
- Access Control
- CCTV
- Intruder Alarms
- Carry out system testing, fault finding, and rectification during commissioning
- Produce and complete commissioning documentation, test results, and handover packs
- Liaise with site management, project teams, and end users to ensure smooth delivery
- Support system handover and provide basic operational guidance where required
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and site procedures
