Responsibilities
- Assist Section Head and Compliance Division (COMD) to implement compliance transformation projects, data and analytics strategy.
- Collaborate with all compliance departments to identify opportunities and support management decision with data insights.
- Facilitate COMD to attain data-driven compliance insights through the use of customer data, including structured and unstructured data, internal and external data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution.
- Advise and support users to build artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) models so as to attain data-driven compliance.
- Advise and assist users to undertake in-depth analysis with advanced customer analytics and big data technology by using internal and external data.
Requirements
- University graduate in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Decision Science, Data Science or in relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Data Science / Business Analytics from recognized establishments in financial services and/or Fintech related industries
- Strong knowledge on data management and analyst
- Strong knowledge on data preparation (e.g. SQL) and data product development
- Experience in database such as Teradata or similar technology
- Experience in cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS, etc) is an advantage
- Experience in managing large scale projects is an advantage
- Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
