About the role
Join a manufacturing team focused on driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports site transformation efforts by applying Lean methodologies, improving process flow, and enhancing overall manufacturing performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement within manufacturing or distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of Enterprise Excellence / Continuous Improvement strategies
Lead and support process improvement projects across manufacturing operations
Apply Lean methodologies, including
- Structured Problem Solving
- Waste Elimination
- Value Stream Mapping
- 5S + Safety
- Standard Work
- Error-Proofing
- SMED
- Participate in daily production management and problem-solving activities
- Support and facilitate Kaizen (Rapid Improvement) events
- Apply engineering and analytical techniques to improve processes
- Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Support benchmarking and best practice implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations and leadership
- Support documentation, reporting, and tracking of improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Required)
- 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Excellence / Continuous Improvement
- Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong experience with Lean methodologies and tools
- Experience supporting Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives
- Experience with problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and process improvement mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in:
- Lean
- Six Sigma
- Experience with tools such as:
- Minitab
- Visio
- MS Project
- Knowledge of:
- Shingo Model
- TWI (Training Within Industry)
- Statistical methods
- Experience supporting plant-level transformation initiatives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in production environments
Compensation
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$54/hr (W-2)
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
- Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri, No OT expected)
- Work Location: 100% Onsite
- Contract Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
