Note: This is fulltime position looking for W2 Candidate only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art controls and automation systems.
  • Lead the development, programming, commissioning, and testing of control systems for fracturing and stimulation equipment.
  • Develop control software using PLC, National Instruments (NI), or equivalent platforms.
  • Design and implement automation system networks, including communication protocols, media, and supporting hardware.
  • Perform hardware and software verification and validation activities.
  • Support system commissioning and field installation activities as required.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Experience in the oil & gas or power generation industries is preferred.
  • Proven experience with large-scale industrial processes (e.g., chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas refining).
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing advanced control systems and HMI solutions, including PLC-based architectures.
  • Experience with model-based predictive control, parameter correction, and plant-level modeling techniques.
  • Solid foundation in control theory, signal processing, system dynamics, and applied mathematics.
  • Experience with system identification, data acquisition, measurement, and estimation methods.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, Profinet, and others.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation hardware, including sensors, actuators, pumps, and variable frequency drives (VFDs), is a plus.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards, including IEC 61508, IEC 61131-3, and SIL-based system design.

Core Competencies & Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience with Siemens PLCs and electro mechanical systems including motors, photo electric sensors, and pneumatics
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as C#, C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, and Microsoft Visual Studio (or equivalent IDEs) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, flow diagrams, and cause-and-effect charts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and technical communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
