Job Description

We're looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our clients growing team in GTA, ON region.

Pay - $100k-$120k/year + Other benefits

Shift - Days

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch).
  • Develop and integrate motion control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems.
  • Create, review, and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Implement, test, and maintain electrical safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated equipment.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation for control systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch).
  • Strong knowledge of motion control systems, VFDs, and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
