Role Summary:
Supports the Facilities Director in managing and maintaining control systems and facility assets across multiple locations, ensuring high operational performance and aesthetic standards. Acts as a liaison with internal teams and vendors, provides guidance on facility practices, and facilitates system upgrades and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and optimizing HVAC, MEP, and other control systems in commercial-grade buildings.
- Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and integration of facility systems with new technologies.
- Coordinate with contractors, manage projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide mentoring and training on control systems to staff.
- Participate in on-call rotation for facility-related emergencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience with commercial building control systems (HVAC, MEP, hydraulic, pool systems).
- College degree preferred; specialized training, or licensing required
- Experience with control system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computers, Android devices, and technical documentation.
- College degree preferred; valid driver’s license required.
Valued/Optional Skills:
- Experience in private estates, hotels, museums, or hospitality.
- Control system certifications (e.g., JACE).
- IT interface knowledge.
