We are hiring two Analytics roles at the Coordinator II, Senior Analyst level, with one role focused on Sales Analytics and one focused on Product & Promotional Analytics.
Both roles are part of the Data & Analytics team and share a common expectation: translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform key business decisions. While the analytical skill set and ways of working are consistent across both roles, each position will specialize in a distinct topic area aligned to core business priorities.
These roles partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and produce executive‑ready insights that help leaders understand what happened, why it happened, and what it means going forward.
Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, drivers, and insights tied to business performance
- Partner cross‑functionally (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Planning) to define success metrics and evaluate results
- Build and maintain recurring dashboards, reports, and standardized analytical frameworks
- Translate complex analysis into clear, executive‑ready narratives and recommendations
- Identify risks, opportunities, and learnings that inform near‑term decisions and long‑term strategy
- Support leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights
- Continuously improve analytical tools, processes, and best practices
Core Questions these roles will explore:
PRODUCT & PROMOTION:
- How did the most recent Limited Time Offer or promotion perform?
- How much incremental traffic or sales did a pricing or promotional initiative drive?
- Did the initiative generate true incrementality or shift existing demand?
- What learnings should inform future tests and launches?
SALES
- What happened to comp sales yesterday, last week, or this period?
- What are the primary drivers of over‑or under-performance?
- How are sales trending versus plan?
- Where are we seeing early indicators of risk or upside?
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Qualifications include:
- 2–5 years of experience in analytics, business analytics, consulting, finance, strategy, or a related quantitative role
- Experience in retail, restaurants, CPG, or consumer businesses preferred but not required
- Strong analytical foundation with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and derive insights from data
- Experience working with large datasets and synthesizing insights into business implications
- Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools, especially Power BI
- Working knowledge of SQL strongly preferred; ability or desire to pull and manipulate data independently
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with pricing, promotions, forecasting, or performance analysis is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present insights to non‑technical audiences
- Detail‑oriented, curious, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
Working Conditions
- This role is required to be in the Greater Boston Area, with an expectation to be in Panera’s Newton office 3 days per week.
Physical Requirements
- While performing this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, sit, talk hear & use hands and fingers to operate keyboards

Competitive Pay $83,686 - $100,423
The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, and geographical location. Individual compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
