Role Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Development & Investment Analyst with a strong interest in technology and technology start-ups. This role will focus on sourcing, assessing, and executing strategic investment and M&A opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and identify investment and acquisition opportunities across the supply chain technology ecosystem.
  • Conduct market research and thematic analysis to identify emerging trends, sectors, and disruptive business models
  • Perform financial analysis, valuation, and business model assessment for potential investments or acquisitions
  • Evaluate startup teams, product-market fit, and scalability potential
  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, venture capital firms, accelerators, and industry networks
  • Support end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, and internal investment memos
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop strategic recommendations
  • Monitor portfolio companies and track industry developments post-investment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in venture capital, corporate development, investment banking (with tech focus), or startup investing
  • Strong interest in technology, startups, and innovation ecosystems
  • Solid financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear investment insights
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command of languages including English and Cantonese
