Experteer Overview

In this role you structure credit for assigned portfolios to assess risk and support profitable growth. You work closely with the Relationship Manager to book new business, deliver strong customer service, and apply credit risk policies. You lead portfolio analysis, monitor facilities, and contribute to cross-team risk and regulatory compliance. Your work helps maximize revenue while maintaining prudent risk controls in a dynamic banking environment. This is a chance to influence credit decisions at scale within a respected financial institution.

Compensation / Benefits

  • Monitor and control credit facilities across assigned portfolios
  • Support Relationship Manager in preparing competitive credit packages and booking new business
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and help improve the customer experience
  • Lead analysis for assigned portfolios and maintain market/industry knowledge
  • Identify changes in the business environment and build action plans for customer issues
  • Cross-sell the full range of products to appropriate customers to maximize revenue and retention
  • Coordinate with other TD business partners and respond to reciprocal referrals
  • Ensure compliance with risk policies, controls, and governance in all credit activities
  • Maintain due diligence for customer transactions and keep abreast of regulatory requirements
  • Diversify knowledge and contribute to team development through mentorship and collaboration
  • Foster productive internal and external relationships to align with enterprise priorities

Tasks

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Depth of knowledge in credit management and risk assessment
  • Ability to analyze multiple variables and consult stakeholders for senior-level decisions
  • Experience in building and presenting credit proposals
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with risk policies, controls, and regulatory considerations
