Join a well-established bank as a Credit Analyst in the Credit Risk department for Structured Finance transactions.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed credit assessments, process credit applications, and provide recommendations on syndicated loans, project loans, LBOs, and cross-border lending, primarily covering the Syndicated and Structured Finance .
- Evaluate and challenge credit limit proposals, and prepare credit opinions/recommendations for credit approvers based on risk and mitigation summaries.
- Ensure credit requests are duly assessed against all internal and external requirements, including approving applications within delegated authority.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and provide guidance as a subject matter expert on credit risk issues.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of credit risk management experience, preferably with exposure to syndicated loans, project loans, LBOs, and cross-border lending.
- Proficiency in credit assessment/approval in the Asia-Pacific regional market and regulatory framework is required.
- University graduate majoring in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM) preferred but not mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of fundamental financial analysis.
- Self-motivated, independent, analytical thinker with ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; experience interacting with senior management.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management certification is preferable.
