Job Description

A $25B+, NY-based alternatives fund that focuses on fundamental research, would like to add an Investment Analyst to their investing team. The fund invests across opportunistic and performing credit strategies in a wide range of sectors. The fund would like to find an Analyst with 2-9 years of direct experience in a public credit fund investing in loans and bonds. They will also consider a private credit specialist who has 2-4 years of total experience. The Analyst will provide in-depth credit support across a variety of strategies including performing, stressed and distressed bonds, leveraged loans, private debt, and private equity and must be able to make relative value calls around bonds and loans. There are needs in multiple sectors including healthcare services. The strongest candidates can take a deep dive into understanding businesses, value, and the use of key business drivers. The analyst should think like an investor, and enjoy a risk-on environment. Candidates need outstanding quantitative analysis and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with others on a collaborative team.
