We’re looking for a Credit manager who can sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Operations—someone who understands when to say yes, when to say not yet, and how to structure deals to keep the business moving without exposing unnecessary risk.
Credit Manager Responsibilities
Cash Flow Performance
- Own the company’s cash conversion cycle—this is your scoreboard
- Drive down past due balances and unlock cash tied up in receivables
- Identify trends early (slow payers, risky accounts, problem projects) and take action
Deal Support & Commercial Decisioning
- Partner directly with Sales on new and existing customer opportunities
- Structure credit terms that enable deals without sacrificing protection
- Review contracts, payment terms, and risk exposure before deals are finalized
- Be the voice of reason when deals get aggressive
Collections Strategy
- Build targeted collection strategies by customer type, size, and risk profile
- Personally step into high-dollar or sensitive accounts when needed
- Turn around difficult situations—disputes, strained relationships, stalled payments
Operational Influence
- Identify breakdowns between billing, operations, and collections—and fix them
- Push for cleaner invoicing, better documentation, and fewer disputes upfront
- Improve how the business thinks about credit—not just how it enforces it
Credit Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years in credit, collections, or receivables in a fast-moving environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and/or Operations
- Strong instincts around customer risk (financials are helpful—but not the whole story)
- Ability to operate with autonomy and make real decisions
Salary $120-135K
