Our Client is seeking a driven Risk Analytics Professional to support consumer banking portfolio risk strategy through data‑driven insights and analytical decision‑making. This role focuses on identifying risks and opportunities, translating complex analysis into actionable recommendations, and supporting strong portfolio performance within a regulated banking environment.
What You’ll Do
- Apply analytical techniques to assess risks and opportunities within a consumer banking portfolio
- Translate quantitative and qualitative analysis into clear recommendations aligned with risk strategy
- Develop analytical concepts and insights to support key stakeholders and business objectives
- Conduct quantitative analysis using large internal and external data sets
- Perform qualitative assessments to support departmental and management decision‑making
- Research credit, product, and risk initiatives, applying critical thinking to support portfolio performance
- Build, enhance, and maintain risk management frameworks to identify, measure, and mitigate risk
- Develop and maintain risk reporting for management and committee oversight of existing and emerging risks
- Support financial risk sensitivity analysis as needed
- Assist in the development or execution of credit and financial modeling infrastructure
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, risk management execution, risk assessments, or a related analytical role
- OR an advanced degree in a quantitative, scientific, engineering, business, or technical field
- Experience communicating analytical insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills using diverse data sources
- Basic understanding of data, coding, or reporting tools
