About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Credit Risk Manager & Legal Counsel to support the company’s international business. This role is suited for candidates with relevant experience in cross-boarder legal support, business risk assessment, overseas compliance matters, or transaction support, and a strong interest in developing further in an international business environment.
The role includes an initial 3–6 month training period in China to build familiarity with the company’s business model, internal processes, and overseas operations before transitioning into the Singapore-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, vendor, partner, and service contracts
- Identify and assess key legal, commercial, and transaction risks in contract terms and business arrangements
- Support transaction and risk review for cross-border business activities,
including payment terms, customer background, credit exposure, and deal structures
- Work closely with business and finance teams to monitor transaction execution, receivables, and potential risk indicators
- Manage overseas compliance matters, entity-related support, and coordination with external counsel or advisors where needed
- Maintain contract, risk, and compliance documentation, and contribute to related process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience preferred in one or more of the following areas:
o Commercial legal support / contract management
o Credit risk / business risk
o Compliance support
o Transaction support
- Candidates outside this range may also be considered based on the relevance of their experience and overall fit
- Industry background experience in technology, IT distribution, cloud services, trading, or other technology-related B2B industry
- Strong interest in cross-border business, commercial risk, and international operations
- Fluent in English ; Mandarin is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and a practical business mindset
