Job Description
Nordstrom is looking for a People Data Analyst 3 to analyze employee data, build dashboards, improve data flows, and optimize measurement frameworks across the enterprise. This position sits within the People Analytics team in Human Resources and partners with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders, including HR Centers of Excellence, Finance, Workforce Management, Operations, and Technology teams, with periodic exposure to executive and senior leadership audiences.
The People Analytics team is passionate about understanding and improving employee experiences and business outcomes through data-driven insights. The team is responsible for building enterprise reporting and dashboards, developing scalable insights, establishing data governance, and creating compelling presentations that inform strategy and decision-making across the organization.
As an integral part of the People Analytics team, the People Data Analyst 3 is responsible for the analysis, development, and presentation of insights that support data-informed decisions across Human Resources platforms and programs. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical rigor, can comfortably partner across functions, and can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both operational and executive audiences in a fast-moving environment.
