Data Analyst and Migration Lead - £400 - £500 a day (Outside IR35) London/ Hybrid - 6-month initial contract
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst/ Migration lead to work on a ERP Programme focussing on data and document readiness moving from Unit 4 to Workday.
This core workstream will focus on ‘Data and Document Readiness’ which will inform the improvements and transition activities needed to migrate the required clients Documents & Data to the Neo Shared Services platform when they transition towards the end of 2027.
Document & Data Analysis / Audit
o Still required for business or legal purposes.
o Accurate and up to date (data quality assessment).
o Within defined retention periods.
o Assessment of UK GDPR compliance by system / location.
o Assessment of Document / Data migration requirements for transition to Neo (what Documents/Data should / should not be migrated).
o Neo Document & Data migration readiness assessment.
o Assessment of risks associated with:
o Migrating redundant or obsolete Documents & Data.
o Migrating special category data.
o Risk of Document & Data duplication between legacy systems and new Neo Workday platform.
o Review of Document & Data security and access controls.
Corporate Services Data and Document Analysis Heatmap, summarising and highlighting areas of strong compliance, areas requiring improvements and areas of concern.
Corporate Services Data and Document Analysis Report, detailing the findings of the above analysis and findings and including capture of risks covering storage, retention and migration tasks risks.
Data Model & Data & Document Dictionary
o Data and document storage and high-level data flow mapping.
o Inventory of current data and document storage locations and systems.
o Updated Clients Information Asset Register.
Document & Data Transition methodology and plan
o Documentation of the overall Transition Strategy and Methodology for the ERP (HR and Finance) related Documents & Data transition to Neo.
o Capture of Data Design Principles to inform decisions throughout the period of preparation and transition to Neo.
o Definition of the roles of data owners and data stewards for the HR and Finance Document & Data set, and associated governance meetings and processes that will be required for the preparation and transition of Documents and Data to Neo.
o Prioritised recommendations for remediation of current Document & Data Issues.
O Definition of the key Document & Data transition artefacts required by the programme for the preparation and transition to Neo.
o Remediation and transition action plan capturing the key stages, schedule and activities for the preparation and transition to Neo.
