We are seeking a Data Analyst, Finished Goods Production to join Arc’teryx in Hong Kong Office.
This role is the first Raw Material Quality position in Asia and represents the regional extension of the Vancouver Design Centre (DC) team. You will work closely with and take functional direction from the Senior Manager of Material Quality and the RMQ team based in Vancouver. You will play a foundational role in shaping our regional footprint, establishing new capabilities, and strengthening the connection between Asian suppliers and the global RMQ function.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the Senior Production Manager and Supply Chain team with consolidated production data, analytics, and reporting to enable informed decision-making.
- Leading system transformation and process enhancement projects, ensuring smooth rollout and adoption across teams.
- Collaborating with management on production and purchase order management, process enhancement, and system transformation initiatives
- Managing PO creation and PO management activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, either independently, with production teammates, or by leading a system team.
- Building automated dashboards and reporting frameworks to analyze and drive Buy confirmation and acceptance, monitor vendor performance, purchase order risks, and shipment timelines, ensuring visibility across global factories
- Partnering with HQ Supply Planning to enhance systems processing and transformation, align supplier capacity with brand demand, and optimize production planning processes
- Reconciling supplier capacity commitments with brand demand, providing early warnings on mismatches and recommending reallocation scenarios
- Translating complex supply chain and production challenges into clear insights and actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams
- Driving continuous improvement by contributing to process standardization, digitalization, KPI alignment, and sustainable reporting across sourcing, planning, QA, and logistics
- Supporting training of colleagues and internal partners in their use of digital analytics to answer their business questions and develop standardized analytics processes
- Coaching team members to strengthen execution capabilities and build operational resilience
Requirements
- Degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in system transformation, process improvement, and analytics, preferably in apparel, footwear, or consumer goods production.
- Strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Strong business acumen in production milestones (materials, cutting, sewing, finishing, inspection, shipment) and understand how they impact supply chain performance
- Solid capacity and production planning knowledge, with strong data analytics skills
- You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP & PLM systems (SAP, Centric), with experience using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc) is an advantage
- Strong data modeling and automation mindset, with the ability to build scalable dashboards and self-serve reporting solutions
- Attention to detail, data governance practices, and the ability to reconcile data from multiple sources
- Proactive in identifying risks, root causes, and developing solutions that drive continuous improvement
- Flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity, balancing autonomy with collaboration
