Salary Range (but Not Limited To)

69,200 - 84,600

Incentive plan

Annual bonus: 7.5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong actuarial or quantitative foundation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with the business to drive decision-making. This role is ideal for a data-driven storyteller—someone who not only builds robust analytical solutions, but can translate results into compelling narratives that influence business strategy and execution.

What You'll Do Here

  • Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to uncover insights related to growth, retention, pricing, segmentation, and performance drivers
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical and predictive models that inform business decisions and improve customer and broker outcomes
  • Partner with business, Finance, and operational leaders to frame problems, evaluate options, and support the development of actionable plans
  • Monitor KPIs and trends, explain variance and outliers, and provide clear insights into results and productivity
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including supporting ad‑hoc analysis as new needs arise
  • Ensure data quality by consolidating, validating, and documenting data from multiple systems and sources
  • Proactively identify new data elements and analytical opportunities that deepen understanding of business performance
  • Apply strong quantitative and actuarial‑style reasoning to solve complex problems and make well‑supported recommendations
  • Lead strategic analytics initiatives within defined problem areas, managing timelines and ambiguity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and advancing analytics best practices

What You Bring To The Table

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, actuarial, or advanced quantitative roles; P&C insurance experience is an asset
  • Strong quantitative foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem‑solving with the ability to have a proactive, analytical, and curious mindset with a continuous‑improvement approach
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources, with a strong focus on data quality and validation
  • Proficiency in SQL programming is required
  • Experience developing dashboards or reports using Power BI, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to clearly communicate analytical insights and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to explain variance, trends, and results
  • Effective time management and organization skills, able to manage multiple prior
