About the Programme
The Data and Digital Apprenticeship programme at the FCA is designed to prepare you for a career in data-driven regulation. The primary role of a Data Analyst is to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. Data analysts are typically involved with managing, cleansing and aggregating data, and using a range of analytical techniques to generate insights from that data. In this role, you would work across a variety of projects, providing technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders. By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready for roles across the FCA’s Data, Digital and Technology profession, including divisions such as Supervision, Policy & Competition and Data, Technology, and Innovation.

You don’t need to have any specific experience; you’ll learning through working in your team alongside experienced colleagues.

You will need to have 2 A-Levels or equivalents at grade C including a numerical A-Level subject e.g. Maths, Economics or Finance. You will also need a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade 4 (C) – 9 (A) including Maths and English.
Your application and any work you submit throughout the recruitment process must be your own. Do not allow another person to complete any part of the assessment or submit responses generated by an AI assistant or similar software.
Please note that this role does not meet the government eligibility criteria detailed on Work in the UK - GOV.UK for visa sponsorship. We’re therefore unable to sponsor visa’s for this programme.
