Job description and responsibilities: The Delegated team (an outsource chief investment officer unit) of Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the team. This individual will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
- Handle daily data processing routines in a data warehouse and Trade Order Management System. View status and exceptions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and exceptions. Ensure data integrity.
- Provide ongoing data support and troubleshooting
- Work with IT teams to technical requirements
The individual will be located in Chicago and will interact with Team members in the US and UK to support a global business platform.
Requirements and qualifications: Required Skills
- College degree with course work in business/computer science or related experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial/investment concepts and math.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced,environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team on a variety of projects, receive instructions from a number of people and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Good oral/written communication skills.
- Experience with databases, data management a plus
- Experience with SQL a plus
- Experience with Bloomberg AIM/Eagle Pace a plus
- 2+ years of work experience as an Operations Data Analyst preferred
- Desire to pursue technology / data management career track
