Data Analyst, Technology & Data Analytics Team, Hedge Fund, New York

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work directly with business groups to identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities
• Own detailed analysis of business process workflows, helping with data cleanup
• Collaborate with software development team to develop solutions and to deliver enterprise-wide software solutions
• Projects will include facilitating co-ordination and development of data analytics / reporting solutions supporting the following: • Senior Management reporting
• Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts
• Risk Analytics

Candidate Profile

• Undergraduate degree with focus on Computer Science / Finance / Economics or equivalent
• 1- 3 years of relevant experience in financial services or asset management
• Ability to perform business analysis, as well as manage and maintain various user relationships
• MS SQL, Python, or other relevant data manipulation tools
• Product knowledge with Bank Loans, Bonds, Credit Derivatives
• Experience with Snowflake is essential
