We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a major Transaction Monitoring application migration programme within a global financial services environment. This role will work closely alongside a Technical Manager as part of a wider transformation initiative involving the migration of approximately 100 applications across London and New York–based systems.

The Role

The Data Analyst will play a key role in delivering critical reporting and data insights throughout the programme, with a strong focus on payments, transaction monitoring, and operational reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability and the ability to work at pace in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse data related to application migration, payments, and transaction monitoring

Work closely with the Technical Manager and wider programme team to support delivery

Extract, cleanse, and interpret large datasets from multiple systems

Build and deliver dashboards and visualisations to support decision-making

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of reporting outputs Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in a Data Analyst role, ideally within large-scale transformation or migration programmes

Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis

Experience using Python for data manipulation and analysis

Strong reporting and visualisation experience with Power BI and/or Tableau

Comfortable working with complex datasets across multiple systems

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Experience within financial services, payments, or transaction monitoring environments

Previous exposure to global, multi-location programmes
