As Data and Analytics Manager (Development), you will lead enterprise data solutions that align with business goals and drive data-powered transformation. You’ll guide analytics strategy, develop models and dashboards, and partner with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT to embed analytics in core functions. You’ll manage a hybrid team across locations, ensure high-quality delivery, and support global reporting initiatives. This role blends leadership, technical execution, and business impact in a fast-moving environment.

  • Oversee Jira tracking, Confluence docs, and code design for efficient development
  • Oversee data models, ETL, and visualization tools (SSIS, Tableau, SSRS)
  • Support global reporting initiatives and ensure consistency with international priorities
  • Ensure readable, maintainable, and modular analytical code and pipelines
  • Define data modeling practices (warehousing, lakehouse Medallion architecture)
  • Standardize data development and metadata management practices
  • Oversee metadata, lineage, and orchestration tools
  • Ensure reporting quality via code reviews, tests, and documentation
  • Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis for long-term fixes
  • Enforce change control, rollback, and testing for stable deployments
  • Maintain audit readiness with documentation, lineage, and access controls
  • Manage vendor/partner relationships delivering analytics services
  • May perform additional duties as assigned

Tasks

  • Deep understanding of structured data management and enterprise best practices
  • Proven track record implementing BI solutions and supporting operational dashboards
  • Experience with normalized, star, and multidimensional schema design
  • Understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts including slowly changing dimensions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
  • Ability to translate analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively
  • SQL Server proficiency with data querying and optimization
  • Experience with Control-M scheduling
  • Google Platform Composer, BigQuery and Vertex AI
  • Tableau experience
  • Python programming
