We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping and developing our data landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with data, understands how to structure it effectively, and can help design scalable data models that support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models, working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is structured in a way that is practical, efficient, and aligned to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Work hands-on with data teams to translate business requirements into effective data structures
- Define data relationships, standards, and modelling best practices
- Support the development of scalable data solutions for analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure models are fit for purpose
- Improve data consistency, quality, and usability across systems
- Document models, definitions, and lineage clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Strong practical experience in data modelling
- 2+ years of experience in designing data models for enterprise data platforms, reporting, or analytics environments
- Good understanding of relational databases, dimensional modelling, and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience with cloud-based data environments is desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain data structures clearly
