Data Engineer, Advanced Analytics

Data Engineer - Advanced Analytics - £465 per day (umbrella rate)

Must have 5 years of unbroken UK residency

Location: Remote

Onsite: London (as and when required)

Contract: 6-12 months

Atrium EMEA are supporting a large managed service provider, looking for a Data Engineer with strong advanced analytics skills and experience working within UK Government environments. You'll extract and integrate data from multiple Legacy systems, build reliable datasets, and support performance analysis using modern data tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean and integrate data from Legacy and modern systems
• Build datasets, pipelines and reporting assets for advanced analytics
• Work closely with Performance Analysts and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI or Tableau
• Apply strong analytical, statistical and data science approaches
• Operate effectively in Agile, fast moving delivery environments

Required Skills & Experience

• UK Government experience as a Performance Analyst (DDaT aligned)
• Strong skills in data analysis, data science, and BI tools
• Advanced programming experience in Python, R and SQL
• Experience extracting and consolidating data from multiple Legacy sources
• Proficiency with Power BI/Tableau for reporting and visualisation
• Comfortable working with change, ambiguity and iterative delivery
