Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, databases, and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration, data modeling, and business intelligence tools to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Administer, monitor, and optimize databases for performance, security, and scalability.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to meet data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and data pipeline issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering and BI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Proven experience in data engineering, database administration, or BI development.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and database platforms (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in part-time, full-time, or hybrid arrangements.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages for data processing.
