Job Details:

Fully Remote within US - EST Schedule

12 months contract W2- Potential extension

Pay Rate: $69.72 to $90 hourly

**Client is not able to do sponsorship of visa or C2C**

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in data engineering and cloud data processing, particularly with the Azure Cloud Platform

• Hands-on expertise with Data Warehousing and ETL tools

• Strong familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Databricks and Alteryx

• Proficiency in building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines and architectures

• Skilled in SQL and Python/PySpark

• Open-minded and quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and paradigms

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Java, or SAS

• Experience with performance/security-oriented data modeling, including partitions, indexes, and views

• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure DevOps

• Working knowledge of Purview, Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Azure Data Engineer certification is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
