A leading global trading firm is looking for a Data Engineer to join a high-calibre tech team in Singapore, working at the intersection of data, trading, and real-time decision-making.

What you’ll be doing
- Designing and building high-performance data pipelines powering real-time trading decisions
- Working with complex and unconventional datasets (e.g. commodities, external/alternative data)
- Owning the end-to-end data lifecycle – from ingestion and exploration to production
- Partnering closely with traders to translate ideas into live signals quickly
- Driving experimentation frameworks that allow new datasets to be tested and deployed at speed
What we’re looking for
- Strong hands-on engineering background with Python / SQL and modern data tools
- Experience building scalable, flexible data platforms or pipelines
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with strong communication skills
- Interest in markets and data-driven decision-making (financial experience is a plus, not essential)
- Someone confident working directly with stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers
