Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer - Salesforce Data Migration for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL(Remote). This role is responsible for designing source-to-target mappings, optimizing Databricks pipelines, and ensuring accurate, high-quality data delivery across Salesforce platforms.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer - Salesforce Data Migration job responsibilities include:
- Extract, transform, and migrate complex legacy datasets using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
- Design and implement source‑to‑target mappings aligned to Salesforce data models across Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect/root‑cause analysis to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Support unit testing and UAT while resolving data gaps and inconsistencies with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with business analysts, Salesforce developers, and multiple workstreams to deliver production‑ready data assets.
- Manage tasks, priorities, and defects in Jira while contributing to standardized migration frameworks and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and large‑scale data migration projects.
- Proven hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks in enterprise data environments.
- Prior experience delivering end‑to‑end Salesforce data migration across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing Cloud).

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
