Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Experience in data engineering, data architecture, data governance, or data quality assurance within financial reporting environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS), including working with and querying complex datasets.
- Experience in compiling, analyzing, and validating financial data using advanced statistical methods and model-driven calculations.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data workflows and pipelines, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience automating data ingestion and reporting processes using programming languages such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to present insights effectively.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and data cataloging tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) for data profiling and metadata/lineage management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline.
