📢 Hiring: Data Engineering Consultant – Financial Engineering (Contract)
Pay Range: $70–$72/hr
Duration: 7–12 months
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Consultant to support a Financial Engineering team focused on royalties, payouts, and accounting data flows. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring compliance across financial reporting systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable pipelines for royalties, invoices, and payouts
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and accounting teams to deliver data solutions
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with financial regulations
- Optimize and automate ETL workflows
- Implement automated testing to reduce financial risks
- Prepare documentation and support internal knowledge transfer
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer / Data Engineering Consultant
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Flyte, Luigi)
- Cloud platform experience (BigQuery, Redshift)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, including Claude Code
- Understanding of financial data concepts (accounting, payouts, compliance)
- Experience with CI/CD and test frameworks
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Background working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with royalty accounting or financial engineering workflows
