Salary: $115,000-135,000

Core hours: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Insight Global's client is looking for a highly driven candidate for a Data Engineering and Platform role. This company's main focus is TV and cross-screen advertising. In this role, your primary focus will be designing, building, and scaling robust, Terabyte-scale data pipelines that power our core advertising (DSP/SSP) and Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) systems. Beyond just moving data, you will be instrumental in developing essential Data Platform-related tooling, establishing rigorous Data Governance frameworks, and ensuring strict Data Compliance across our massive data ecosystem. You would be managing a high-velocity, high-volume data, specifically Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala-Spark) that directly impacts company revenue. They are looking for hands-on experience with Databricks and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. The Salary will vary based on experience and education at a range of $115,000-135,000 a year.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

● 2-3+ years of relevant professional software development experience, with a strong preference for Backend or Data Engineering roles.

● Experience building, maintaining, and scaling complex ETL processes.

● Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.

● Solid understanding of core Computer Science concepts, specifically Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and DBMS.

● Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive, self-starter attitude.

● Clear and effective communication of technical challenges, both verbally and in writing.

● Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
