Job Title: Data Platform Engineer – Palantir Foundry

Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid-2days Tue & Wed)

Pay Rate: $60/hr-$70/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)

Type: Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Shift: M-F -08.00 AM to 05.00 PM PST

Position Summary

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Grid Resiliency portfolio operations and PSPS application development in Palantir Foundry
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable code, pipelines, DAGs, and shared libraries
  • Configure and support Palantir Foundry applications, ontology governance, and ETL/data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, Workshop applications, Quiver dashboards, and automations
  • Support SaaS/public cloud integrations, middleware, data warehouses, and analytics solutions
  • Provide architectural governance for ontology design, pipeline execution, and deployment lifecycle management
  • Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support
  • Collaborate with infrastructure providers, cloud teams, and third-party vendors
  • Monitor resource utilization, compute consumption, and provide cost optimization recommendations
  • Support Agile/DevOps application delivery and operational support processes

Required Skills

  • Strong software engineering and full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
  • Experience with data pipeline architecture and application maintenance
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, pipeline builder, and ontology design
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management skills
  • Ability to manage technical deliverables independently
  • Strong stakeholder communication and operational support experience
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with PySpark, Polars, and data engineering frameworks
  • Knowledge of data lineage, impact analysis, and object-based data modeling
  • Experience troubleshooting pipeline performance and downstream data issues
  • Utility or Grid Resiliency domain experience
