Job Summary
A terrific opportunity exists for an Intern to join the Data Science team to:
- Play an integral role in data preparation and data wrangling for building deep learning based AI and ML products
- Analyze data (structured / unstructured / semi-structured)
- Learn and write code in R and/or Python, under the guidance of a team of talented data scientists.
- Learn to use Power BI for descriptive analytics
- You will have the opportunity to interact and work closely with other senior data scientists and AI experts and other teams across the globe.
- Assist in projects led by data scientists in the Regional Data Analytics team.
- Learn about the reinsurance and insurance business, and engage regularly with underwriters & client managers in office.
Your Profile
- Preferably currently pursuing a master’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Applied mathematics, Computer Science
- Must have some basic experience in programming in R and /or Python.
- Be highly committed, self-motivated and a strong team player.
- Willing and enthusiastic to assume responsibility and learn new tools and technologies
- Fluent in written and spoken business English
- Superior attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
- Internship Period: 3 - 6 months (please indicate availability on your application)
