- Lead a team of 3+ data scientists setting technical direction and priorities, managing performance, and developing careers, including hiring as the team grows
- Architect end-to-end AI/ML and agentic solutions, author first drafts of technical implementations, review pull requests, and uphold high standards for code and system quality
- Partner with Data Science Product Managers, Engineering, Product, and Business leadership to shape and deliver data science initiatives aligned with broader organizational strategy
- Translate ambiguous business and partner problems into well-scoped data science and AI solutions including work breakdown, effort estimation, and delivery planning
- Build and ship LLM-powered and agentic AI systems in production, owning them from prototype through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Own technical decision-making for your team, including model and agent architecture, tooling, observability, evaluation strategies, and operational best practices
- Drive a culture of experimentation, measurement, and iteration by defining success metrics and tracking impact over time
- Represent data science in cross-functional and partner-facing discussions, including presenting solutions and progress directly to external stakeholders
