Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects with cross-functional teams to inform product strategy and investment.
- Inspire and develop a team of data scientists and managers to achieve vision and objectives.
- Shape the strategy and roadmap by generating insights to prioritize long-term goals.
- Understand complex systems and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging analytical problems.
- Grow analytics expertise within the team, upskilling peers to enhance overall impact.
- Define key metrics for model effectiveness and drive actionable insights for performance acceleration.
- Collaborate with various teams to achieve ambitious growth goals and implement strong experimentation practices.
- Guide the strategic direction of growth initiatives by investing in data and analytical methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in applied quantitative analysis, including 3+ years with a Ph.D.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with at least 2 years in people management.
- Proven success in leading high-performing analytics teams.
- Ability to communicate technical details and high-level strategies effectively.
- Track record in product roadmap execution.
- Experience with cross-functional partnerships, engaging with Engineering, Design, and Product Management teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in leading analytics teams across multiple projects or programs.
- At least 2 years of experience with consumer-facing products.
- 10+ years in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
Public Compensation:
$210,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
