Job Description
- Develop and fine-tune Generative AI and LLM-based solutions (e.g., RAG systems, text analytics, domain-specific copilots) to support research and operational workflows.
- Conduct data science research leveraging granular, alternative, and unstructured data to improve risk monitoring and surveillance capabilities.
- Maintain, enhance, and monitor internal AI-powered platforms and web portals-including LLM tools, chatbots, and intelligent knowledge systems.
- Build and optimise end-to-end data and model pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers to automate dashboards, improve database workflows, and operationalise machine learning models using MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
- Experiment with emerging foundation models, GenAI frameworks, and vector database technologies to evaluate their applicability in research and analytics.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data science, data engineering, or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Experience working with Generative AI / LLM technologies (e.g., Transformers, RAG, embeddings, NLP libraries such as Hugging Face or spaCy).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
- Understanding of DevOps and orchestration tools such as Git, Terraform, Jenkins, and Apache Airflow.
- Solid understanding of cross-system integration and full data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of ML algorithms, MLOps concepts, and big data processing frameworks is a plus.
- Highly motivated, with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
