We are hiring on behalf of our client, a reputable organisation, for a Data Scientist to develop and deploy data science and Generative AI solutions that support key business functions across investment, industry development, and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand priorities and identify high-impact use cases
- Design and develop solutions using Data Science and Generative AI techniques to drive measurable business outcomes
- Research and evaluate emerging AI methodologies (e.g. LLMs, Agentic AI, predictive modelling, anomaly detection, NLP, customer segmentation)
- Perform data wrangling and analysis, including preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI/ML models and applications
- Develop backend APIs and services for AI model integration and deployment
- Build frontend interfaces and user experiences for AI-powered applications
- Maintain proper documentation for systems, models, and enhancements
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in deployed solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields
- Strong understanding of AI/ML techniques for regression and classification
- Proficiency in Python and common libraries (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, NLP libraries such as spaCy/NLTK)
- Understanding of LLM concepts and architectures (e.g. embeddings, context windows, tokenisation, RAG)
- Experience with prompt engineering and context optimisation techniques
- Proficient in Git and SQL
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, MicroStrategy)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. TypeScript, C#)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Full-stack development experience, including:Backend frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Flask, Express.js)Frontend technologies (e.g. React, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, TypeScript)
- Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers)
- Knowledge of vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma)
- Familiarity with AI agents / multi-agent systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with statistical tools (e.g. R, SAS)
