Data Scientist (NLP)

A company is looking for a Data Scientist (NLP) to support federal client engagement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-process data sets for computational models using Python, including techniques like stop word removal and tokenization

Apply NLP feature engineering methods and select evaluation protocols for modeling

Develop and validate classification modeling techniques, presenting insights and relevance to business challenges

Required Qualifications

Master's degree required; PhD preferred in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar (Bachelor's acceptable with strong Python skills)

High proficiency in Python for NLP use cases such as Document Summarization and Sentiment Analysis

At least four years of experience with scalable, production-ready NLP solutions using relevant frameworks

Experience with open source NLP packages and transformer architectures

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
