Overview
Data Scientist (Azure, Python, and SQL) - Toronto, ON The ideal candidate is comfortable analyzing large data sets to find opportunities to improve product performance and increase value to customers. They must be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization, from peer Data Scientists to business stakeholders. They must have a proven ability to drive business results and be comfortable communicating recommendations and findings to a business audience. The right candidate will have a passion for growing their data science acumen. Location: Toronto, ON. Fully remote. 1-year contract (with the possibility of extension).
Responsibilities
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences
- Marketplace focused on ICO domain.
- Work with the Product Manager to prototype new ideas, models, and ways of leveraging lots of data points to improve business outcomes.
- Utilize appropriate cloud resources based on project demands and data workloads to automate and productionalize data science processes.
- Develop enrichment processes and procedures to improve the cleanliness, usability and understanding of data.
- Proactively monitor existing Machine Learning models, their performance, output, and accuracy.
- Management of large-scale data processing system for preparing structured and unstructured data for analytic modelling.
- Work along with Support Teams to troubleshoot and identify customer-reported issues.
Must-Haves
- 4+ years experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or a similar position
- Extensive experience with Azure
- Expert level in Python and SQL querying skills
- Experience with training and maintaining ML models
- University degree in a STEM field
