The role involves performing bioinformatics data analysis to inform and support therapeutic program decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the use of large-scale biological data and drive scientific innovation. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in scientific, computational, and statistical disciplines, with a proven ability to deliver impactful results. Flexibility, independence in research, and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Omics data curation and ingestion: assist other data scientists and data engineers to propose state-of-art omics data models and build Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines to timely ingest internal and external omics datasets into a centralized repository or data lake to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Data pipeline building and automation: assist other bioinformaticians and data scientists to build and automate data processing pipelines such as lab scientific data and omics data (including NGS, proteomics, and spatial transcriptomics datasets).
• Drug target discovery: implement an analytical workflow to support early target identification and evaluation.
• Communicate scientific results and conclusions clearly.
• Proactively communicate project activities and progress with key stakeholders and supervisors.
